Q.

How does Klosit work?

The process is quite simple. Register online and schedule an appointment with us. A Klosit driver will deliver your boxes right to your door and you can pack your things. The driver can either wait for up to twenty minutes while you pack and take the boxes away on the same day, or you can reschedule a pickup for a later date.

Every box comes with a unique box password printed on a security seal, which once locked, cannot be reopened unless it is cut. Remember to snap a photo of the contents of your box before you lock up the security seal.  Upload your photos to your secure account. Log in, enter your unique box password, and you will be able to upload photos, manage your boxes and retrieve them at any time you’d like.

What areas of Hong Kong do you pickup from and deliver to?

We can pickup and deliver from any district in Hong Kong and Kowloon.

How do I keep track of my things online?

Once your account is created, just enter your box password, and upload photos of the contents of your boxes to your own online archive. This helps you to keep track of what you have stored with Klosit and allows you to schedule an easy delivery for anything you would like back.

Is there a mobile app to keep track of my things?

An iOS and Android app will be available soon. Our current site is mobile-friendly, so go ahead and use our services on your mobile device. We will let you know as soon as our app is ready and will keep you updated on any tech advancements that we have going on.

How secure is your storage facility?

We know how important your things are to you and your business is just as important to us! Our storage facility and warehouse are monitored 24/7 by security professionals. The space is restricted to public access and we have everything covered with cameras, alarms and full-time security personnel. We are also monitored by the Fire Department and regulated with pest-free sprays.

Can I visit the warehouse?

We know you would love to visit your boxes, but to keep things fully secure, we do not allow any public access to our storage facilities. If your matter is urgent and unique, you can contact us at 852-6461-8128 or email [email protected]

What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm, but if you leave us a message outside of our office hours, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

 

Our Pricing

Q.

How much does Klosit cost?

Our plans start at HKD $49 a month per box. If you need more storage, we are more than happy to provide extra boxes to you for HKD $49 a month per box. For more information, check out our pricing page here.

For example, if you store your box for 1 month + 1 day, we will charge you for 2 months.

When will you charge my account?

We will only charge you when your boxes have been uploaded to your account. Any charges after that, will be processed on the monthly anniversary of the first payment.

Q.

Tell me more about this one-month minimum.

Our minimum storage term is one month, but you can get your things back at any time. This means if you need your boxes back before your month is up, we still need to charge you for the remaining time that you didn’t store for.

What is the pickup and delivery pricing again?

Pick-up is free when you order new boxes. When you want your boxes back, a HKD$88 + HKD$20 per box or item delivery fee is charged and our Klosit driver will deliver your boxes from our storage facility to your front door. That is less than a round-trip taxi fare.

Why do deliveries cost me HKD$88 + HKD$20 per box or item?

To make the process a little easier, we’ve rolled up all of the transportation costs into the HKD$88 + HKD$20 per box or item fee, which allows us to bring your boxes back to you as and when you’d like. When you sit down to crunch the numbers, we’re saving you all those round-trip taxi fares you’d be paying if you were to use self-storage.

What’s the pricing like for oversized items?

How do I update my payment information?

Login to your Klosit account and make changes to your billing or contact information in the “Account” tab.

What happens if I miss a monthly payment?

We get that things happen and sometimes you forget, so we offer our customers a two-week grace period for late payments. After two weeks, a late-payment penalty will be added to your bill.

 

Pickup and Delivery

Q.

Hold on…I need some time to pack. Can you wait for me?

After delivering the boxes to you, our drivers can wait for up to twenty minutes, or you can reschedule another convenient time for a free pickup within two weeks of the box delivery.

Q.

What if I want you to come and collect different boxes at different times?

Your box order comes with one free pickup. A fee of HKD $200 will be added for each pickup thereafter.

Q.

Can I change or cancel my pickup and delivery appointments?

No problem. For a change or cancellation, simply login to your Klosit account to reschedule, or you can call us at 852-6461-8128 or email [email protected] A late cancellation fee of HKD $120 will be incurred if you reschedule later than 6pm in the previous evening.

Can I cancel after receiving the empty boxes?

Yes, but unfortunately, once you have our boxes with you, a HKD$88 + HKD$20 per box or item pickup fee will be incurred for the return of the empty boxes.

Q.

What if I’m not there when Klosit shows up at the scheduled time?

We’ll wait for up to twenty minutes and try to reach you in every way possible. In the case of no-show, a HKD$120 penalty will be charged to your account.

Q.

How long can I keep the boxes for?

After receiving our boxes, you can keep the boxes, pack your things and schedule a free pickup for up to two weeks. After two weeks, a rental fee of HKD $100 will be charged for the boxes that are still with you.

 

Packing Up

Q.

How many boxes should I get?

We’ll bring our boxes to your home and will only charge you for the ones that you use. Our durable plastic bins carry up to 50 lbs (about 23 kg), measuring at 600mm (L) x 400mm (W) x 315mm (H).

Q.

How do I seal the Klosit boxes?

Before you seal your boxes, snap a photo of the box contents. Make sure everything fits inside the box and interlock the lid so the top is closed and flat. Using your security seal, lock the box shut at both ends, and enter your unique box password into your online archive. Don’t worry about the rest – our Klosit drivers will be there to pickup the boxes and take them to our storage facilities.

What can’t I store in your storage facilities?

We are unable to store perishables, liquids, extremely fragile items, explosives, flammables and hazardous materials, as well as any illegal substances. Please refer to our Storage Rules here.

Can I use my own boxes or suitcases to store my things?

Of course you can – we understand that suitcases can take up a lot of space. Feel free to handover your own way of storage. Simply email us at [email protected] or call us at 852-6461-8128 for more details.

Q.

Can I store things that don’t fit into the boxes you’ve given me?

Sure! We’re happy to help you pack away your spare golf clubs, luggage, surfboards, skis, bicycles and so much more. Unfortunately, we can’t help you with storing any furniture like chairs, sofas, mattresses, tables and desks for now (but we are working to make that happen in the future).
